FREE EP: ANT - Dandelion Session

Hello friends,

A few of you may be familiar with our 'sub-sister label' Barely Out Recordings. It's a tiny wee affair to host and deliver free radio sessions and such from our roster. There's some interesting things there, including Benjamin Shaw's idea (I assume) of Easy Listening and a two track Resonance session from Broken Shoulder that might be the best he's ever sounded, a regular Machine & Soul attack. Plus Jack Hayter sounding like a genuine old man folk star/fisherman.

This is the first time we've had the pleasure of giving you something from an artist who isn't really a part of the roster. For the fun and thrill of it, we're housing a four track acoustic session from friend and megahunk Antony Harding (ANT).

You might know ANT already...He made a mark as the drummer of Hefner and has collaborated on numerous recordings with our man Jack Hayter (perhaps you were treated to his drumming and artwork on new single "Farewell Jezebel" or perhaps "It Will"?). He even contributed a song to our latest charity compilation "Some.Alternate.Universe for FSID". As a solo artist though, he recorded a session for John Peel and has released a series of albums and EPs that are plenty stunning and thoroughly gorgeous.

These are simple stripped back session recordings from a typically layered artist, recorded for our friend Mark Whitby at Dandelion Radio, free for your pleasure and discovery...I can't recommend his albums highly enough
ANT recently released the album "The Birds Sing Goodnight To You And Me" on We Were Never Boring Records and I'd heartily recommend "A Long Way To Blow A Kiss" and "These Long Dark Country Roads" - available HERE.

I wrote this in a Starbucks in New York City on two hours sleep. I am despicable.

Thanks & Never Say DIY!
